MEO's cuffs share the follow basic design features: The shackle profile is shaped so that it will not rotate around the wrists when applied. The cuffs double lock and the keyholes are only accesible from one face. If the cuffs are applied with the keyholes facing away from the hands, it is highly improbable that one could open the cuffs on their own, even if in posession of a key.
